Replacing with a proper three prong grounded standard power cable solved it. Turns out it was bc the power cable for the turntable (PLX1000) had its ground pulled. Serato just announced an update to its Serato Sample plugin for DJ/producers. Didnt matter about the mixer, needles, RCAs, tone arm, or timecodes.
